What Kinetic ML is
Kinetic ML is a concept-stage business-intelligence platform. Its working line is "See everything about any business. In seconds." [1][4] The system takes a business, reads its public website, identifies the owner or decision maker, surfaces social profiles and contact details, and writes a personalized outreach email from what it found [1][4]. It is at concept stage, Common Ground advises it, and that relationship dates to 2025 [4]. This page describes the concept as the public site shows it. It does not describe a shipped product with customers.
The idea starts from a plain observation in the site's own context file: most "AI sales tools" are black boxes, and Kinetic ML shows the work instead. A visitor watches the scrape, the enrichment, the reasoning and the draft happen in real time, so the output can be judged by how it was reached [3].
How it works
The public demo walks a visitor through one pass of the pipeline. The stages below are the ones the home page, the demo page and the site's context file name [1][2][3].
1. Choose a business. The visitor enters a business type and a city, with the demo's own examples being a nail salon or a dentist in Phoenix, and the system returns a list of matching businesses to pick from. A second button, "Enter a Business You Know," opens a direct mode that skips the search [1][3]. The input the site's context file lists is any business name, website or domain [3].
2. Website intelligence. The system scrapes the business's site for headlines, services and tech stack, and identifies gaps such as a missing booking tool or chat [1]. That gap list is the raw material for a specific, relevant email later, since it names something the business could actually use.
3. Reviews. The home page's preview shows a review rating and review count for the business. The demo page also lists review mining among the methods it uses to find the person behind the business [1][2].
4. Social profiles. The system looks for the business's Instagram, TikTok and Facebook profiles and shows follower and post counts where it finds them [1]. When it finds nothing, the demo says so plainly: all platforms were checked and no profiles were found [2].
5. Decision maker discovery. The system tries to find the owner or manager, with a role, a LinkedIn profile and any personal social profiles [1]. The demo page names its methods as Google search, LinkedIn search and review mining [2]. When it cannot identify anyone, it reports "Decision maker not identified" instead of guessing [2].
6. Email discovery. The system finds an email address and attaches a confidence score to it. The home page's sample card shows a confidence percentage beside the address. The demo also lists the contact emails published on the business's own website, and states when it cannot determine an email because it found neither a website nor a decision maker [1][2].
7. Personalized outreach. The last stage writes an outreach email that refers to specific details from the business, built from the earlier stages. The demo page labels the generator the APEXX Template Engine, and says the email is personalized from the visitor's own name [1][2].
The home page states one sourcing rule for the whole pipeline: all data is sourced from public records and websites [1]. The site's context file names the stack as Next.js for the front end and FastAPI for the back end, deployed on Vercel and Railway [3].
What the demo asks of a visitor
The demo is gated. A visitor enters their information to use the live enrichment demo and gets two free searches [2]. After a run, the page makes an offer: "Want this for 500 of your ideal prospects?" It says the team will build the entire outreach pipeline, scraped, enriched and personalized, and a button to book a demo with APEXX AI [2]. The structure is a working demonstration of the thing that would be sold.
The limits the site shows
Kinetic ML prints no accuracy figure, and this page does not invent one. What the site does show is how the pipeline behaves when it fails. It reports missing profiles, an unidentified decision maker and an email it could not determine, as separate and specific messages [2]. It attaches a confidence score to the email it does find [1].
The larger limit is stage. The Common Ground record calls Kinetic ML a concept, says the venture is at concept stage and says its wiki page "will be updated as it matures" [4]. The current feature set it lists is the three features on the home page: website intelligence, decision maker discovery and personalized outreach, with a live demo on the public site [4]. The home page's sample enrichment card is an illustration of the output, not a customer record.
History and milestones
- November 2023 to April 2024. The name Kinetic ML first appears in the Common Ground record as a sports-science and prediction venture. Jimmy Khounlavong built its pitch deck across four versions: a 19-slide golf deck dated November 16, 2023, a first Keynote version on November 20, 2023, a 16-page "Transforming Golf" version the next day, and a 24-page all-sports version in April 2024 under the line "supercharging the future of sports." The deck named three problems: limited knowledge, limited resources for sports outside the majors, and limited access to data. Its investment page was left marked "tbd," and that venture has not gone to market [5].
- 2025. Common Ground begins advising Kinetic ML [4].
- October 2026. The Common Ground wiki describes Kinetic ML as a concept-stage business-intelligence platform, "a different product from the one in these decks" [4][5].
The two concepts share a name. The Common Ground record treats the current platform as a different product from the one in those decks [5].
Who it serves
The site's examples are local service businesses, and its audience is the person trying to reach them: a sales team or an agency looking for a pipeline of prospects with researched, specific outreach [1][2]. The offer in the demo is built for a list of prospects, not one lookup, with 500 named as the example [2].
The relationship to APEXX AI
APEXX AI is Common Ground's AI agency and the deployment arm of the group, according to the Common Ground record [6]. Kinetic ML's site links to APEXX AI for booking a demo, labels its email generator the APEXX Template Engine, and its context file describes Kinetic ML as the live demo of APEXX AI's automation offering [2][3]. Its branding line reads "Created by Common Ground, Enhanced by APEXX AI" [3].
The people
The site's context file names Jesse Fowler as its builder [3]. The Common Ground record lists the people on the earlier deck's team page: Nick Scavio for legal, Jesse Fowler for operations and Jimmy Khounlavong for brand and marketing, alongside specialists in AI analytics, sport psychology, movement and recovery [5]. The current site names no one else.
Frequently asked questions
What is Kinetic ML? Kinetic ML is a concept-stage business-intelligence platform. A visitor picks a business and watches software read its website, find its owner and social profiles, discover an email address and write a personalized outreach email [1][4].
Is Kinetic ML a finished product? No. The Common Ground record says it is at concept stage, with a live demo on the public site and a wiki page that will be updated as the venture matures [4].
Where does Kinetic ML get its data? The site says all data is sourced from public records and websites. It scrapes the business's site, then looks for reviews, social profiles and a decision maker [1][2].
How does Kinetic ML find an email address? It looks at the contact emails published on the business's website and at the decision maker it identified, and it shows a confidence score on the address. If it finds neither a website nor a decision maker, it says it could not determine an email [1][2].
Can I try it? Yes. The demo is on the site. A visitor enters their information and gets two free searches [2].
What does the demo cost? The site states no price. It offers two free searches and then invites visitors to book a demo with APEXX AI to build a pipeline for their own prospects [2].
Was Kinetic ML ever a sports-science company? In 2023 and 2024 a pitch deck under the same name described a sports-science and prediction venture. The Common Ground record says that venture has not gone to market and that today's business-intelligence platform is a different product [4][5].
Who built Kinetic ML? The site's context file names Jesse Fowler as the builder, and the site was created by Common Ground [1][3].
